Art On The Map started in 1999 as an initiative by Lincolnshire County Council with European funding. In 2003 the event was given over to the membership and is now an artist run organisation with a Steering Group representing the strategic vision of the participants and a co-ordinator who organises and manages the event.

Zoo Ceramics is a partnership of two sculptural ceramic artists Maggie Betley and Tracy Wright, who set up a workshop together in 1988.
