Traditional painted or stained and oiled wood sourced from renewable sources.  Typically Ash, Walnut, Tulip and Cedar.   Lime, Pine and Beech for painted horses.  Wood-turning for new objects or for antique restoration.  Stickmaking, shepherd's crooks, Buffalo horn handles.

David Powell

My inspiration comes from my love of the ocean and architecture.  The pieces I create are made with kiln-formed glass.  This medium gives me the chance to express myself freely.  Texture and movement are important in my work which keeps the viewer intrigued.  I produce sculptures, dishes, necklaces and tiles.
