A nineteenth century design brought right up to date for today’s artist.  Small, compact and strong with hand-cut dovetail joints, the Pochade Box is ideal for traveling.

 

The lid holds three suitable boards for drawing or painting and locks open with dowelled struts.  Two are supplied offering the choice of two angles.

 

Paints, brushes and pencils can be stored under the sliding palette and the Pochade closes to transport the finished wet paintings safely home.

 

Two sizes:   8 x 6 inches and 9 x 7 inches are available from the gallery.
